About Boatable
We connect boat owners and marine service operators with respect for how fragmented the work still is.
Why Boatable exists
Every boater knows the frustration: a dozen phone calls to find service, hand-written quotes from mechanics who only work by referral, parts that fit one hull but not another, and job records scattered across emails and texts.
Boatable is starting with one focused wedge: a structured marine-service workflow that connects an owner's request to provider operations and a durable job record.
What we are building
- Structured service requests so owners describe the boat, symptoms, location, timing, and supporting media once
- Quote and job records that keep scope, price, status, and payment state tied to one workflow
- Provider operations for leads, offerings, jobs, and payout setup
- Verification levels that state exactly what has been checked instead of using blanket trust claims
- Roadmap layers for storage, transport, vessel passport, and advisory Copilot features only after the service wedge proves out
Our principles
- Honest about scope — every public surface should distinguish what is live from what is planned
- Platform, not provider — we coordinate workflows; we do not pretend to be the mechanic or marina
- Marine-first records — vessel context, service scope, and outcome history matter
- Privacy and trust — owner data rights and provider verification need to be implemented explicitly, not implied
Company
Boatable is an early-stage company focused on proving the marine-service marketplace before expanding into broader infrastructure layers.
We are actively expanding our provider network and deepening the platform. If you are a marine industry operator, provider, or community leader, we want to hear from you.
Leadership
Team details for current leadership are on our home page. We are a small founding team of builders, operators, and lifelong boaters.
